About the position
Aito has project-based activities working with colleagues distributed across the globe. In this role you will work with the raw data and take part in the development cycle of the final device. The focus in this role is mainly on the touchpads and keyboards. The developer also communicates with customers on a technical level.
Algorithm developers’ responsibilities are:
- The development of signal acquisition and sensing algorithms
- Review test results from automated tests during software/product release test cycles
- Define environmental and user experience tests
- Explore the effect of environmental changes and aging of the piezoelectric elements
- Analyse customer issues in existing products and develop strategies to resolve them
- Support the creation of product documentation in your area of expertise
- Implement unit & integration tests based on previously acquired data
Who are you?
For you to succeed in this role, you have minimum of three years of working experience in software development, embedded system development, product testing or product support. You have strong focus in piezo elements and material science. Excellent knowledge in MatLab toolchain is required. We are looking for someone who is very interested in algorithms but also has accomplished a Master of Science or PhD degree in physics, material science or other equivalent engineering degree with strong focus on piezoelectric materials. Strong understanding of time series signal processing techniques is required, and we expect you to have clear and concise in your communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

- Excellent knowledge in MatLab and high interest in algorithm developing
- Master of Science or Doctor of Philosophy in physics, material science or other equivalent engineering degree
- Minimum of 3 years of working experience in software development, embedded system development, product testing or product support
- Self-motivated, co-operative team player with great communication skills.
